Winnacunnet Student Publications

We have three student publications at Winnacunnet High School. Below is a short description of each one and information on how students can get involved. Click on the publications home page to find out more…due dates, publication dates, submission policies, and advertising info.

Lit Mag

The Lit Mag staff meets after school weekly and is planning on publishing three editions this year. We need student writers and artists to submit original work for publication.  The Lit Mag will be distributed near the end of each trimester this year.  Subscriptions are also available for a nominal fee (TBD).  

 

 

Newspaper

Newspaper is an advanced journalism course and is offered all three trimesters.  Applications are required for staff members.  Students gather news, take photos, write graphics, contact advertisers, do computer layout and distribute the Winnachronicle. This class meets daily as well as after school, evenings and weekends as needed.  Subscription form

Yearbook is an advanced publications class that is offered all three trimesters.  Applications are required for staff members.  This class combines practical experience in photography, writing, graphic design and layout, small business management, accounting, sales and marketing to produce the yearbook, The Sachem.  This class meets daily as well as after school, evenings and weekends as needed.
