General Announcements

Reminder for all students: Exams are scheduled for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, Nov. 27-29th. Please check the WHS website under calendar for exam schedules.

Jostens will be delivering class rings during all lunch on Monday, Dec. 3rd. Final payment will be due at this time.

Mr. Moore and Mr. Cyrus would like to invite you to our WHS Holiday Concert this Thursday night, November 29, at 7:00 PM. The Chorus, Chamber Singers, and Concert Band will all perform. Admission is FREE. There will be refreshments for sale at intermission.

For those students who pre-ordered Hex Bugs, Seamus will be in the dining hall for pick-up today. Hex Bugs are also available to buy. Stop by my table and check them out!

WHS is hosting a winter coat drive for our community. New or used coats of any size but especially children sizes are in great need locally. Please check your closets at home for winter coats that are no longer in use or consider donating a new coat. A collection bin is available in the front foyer for drop off until December 1st.

Community Service

The Hampton PTA is having its annual Santa Breakfast on Saturday December 1st at the Hampton Academy cafeteria. They would love to have some high school students give us a hand at the event. Students would be helping out in the Santa's Workshop store and at the craft table. Please see Mrs. Krapf in the Student Activities office for more information.

Clubs & Activities

This year’s spring musical is “Little Shop of Horrors”. Auditions will be held on Thursday December 13, and Wednesday, December 19. Students interested in auditioning can get audition materials and information from Mr. Moore in room A107.

Attention Project Search students – Reminder that our next Search is today, and the topic is Christianity – What relevance and value does it have in today’s society? If you’re not in Search but would like to hear this presentation, please see Mr. Dover in guidance.
