Dear Parents or Guardian -
It is that time of year again when we will be holding our annual Picture Day at Winnacunnet High School. This photograph has many useful applications for our school, as well as your personal portraits and memories. Prestige Portraits - a division of Lifetouch Studios has mailed to each underclassmen parent a white envelope with the words, "Important School Picture Day Information Enclosed" in blue on the outside of the envelope. This envelope has ordering materials for those of you who wish to purchase. If you did not receive this envelope or misplaced it, we will have extra forms in the Main Office. If you have any questions, regarding your order, please call Prestige Portraits at 800-426-9533 ext. 117.
Picture Date: For both students & faculty/staff is Thursday, August 30th
Photos in the Gym:
- Block 1 – Freshmen
- Block 2 – Sophomores
- Block 3 – Seniors
- Block 5 – Juniors
Assemblies in the Auditorium:
- Block 1 – Juniors
- Block 2 – Seniors
- Block 3 – Sophomores
- Block 5 – Freshmen
Faculty and Staff photos – anytime in the gym
All students, even seniors, must have their photo taken for ID's. Freshmen and transfer students will receive temporary ID's on the first day of school. Returning students may use last year's ID until the new ones arrive. Once the photo ID's are ready, all students will receive them. If parents would like to purchase the school pictures, the order form that was mailed home must accompany the student to the camera on picture day. Extra order forms will be available in the main office in case you didn't get one. If you forget to send in the order form on picture day, the student can do a re-take 0n October 5.
Make-Up Day
School picture make-up day for freshmen, sophomores & juniors is Friday, October 5, 2012Senior Portraits
If you would like to take advantage of having your senior portraits done at WHS, there are several dates available. Our school photographer, Lifetouch/Prestige Portraits has mailed home appointment information to seniors. Lifetouch will be at WHS to take senior portraits on the following dates:
- Thursday, Sept. 6, 2-7pm
- Friday, Sept 7, 2-7pm
- Saturday, Sept. 15, 9-3pm
- Make-up Day on Monday, Oct. 15, 8-2pm
However you are planning to get them done, remember that Senior Portraits are due to the Yearbook Committee by Halloween (Oct.31). We will use the senior's ID photo if we do not have any other submitted senior photo. If we don't have the ID photo, we will use the most current photo that we do have.
