In this online project, you will complete two activities. If you get lost, click on the links on the left to get back to your spot. (Activity Three is in development so you will just do one and two.) To fulfill the requirements for this project, you will need to read the instructions carefully, think about what is being asked and write some short responses of two to three sentences each.

In this beginning activity, you are going to take a look at a news event from the past. After you have read the article from 1963, write three or four sentences on separate paper (or directly in Microsoft Word) about what stood out the most to you when reading the story.
