Summer Programs 2022

July 5th-28th

Bus Routes

Monday-Thursday 8:30-11:30 (No school 7/4, in school 7/8)

Students who are interested in attending the summer session should consult with their guidance counselor.

Recovery Classes

Students who failed classes in English, Social Studies, Science and Math will be given the opportunity to make up work and earn credits. For Science and Math recovery students need to have earned at least a 50 in the class. In some cases students may need to continue in recovery classes in the fall, but the July session offers a great opportunity for students to stay on track for graduation. Recovery students are typically enrolled for the full session.

Incompletes and No Credits

Students with outstanding grades of NC or I  in English, Social Studies, Science and Math are encouraged to attend the summer session and finish the work. Students working on NCs and I’s only need to attend the summer session until their work is complete.

Project Adventure, Ropes Course

Mr. Francoeur will have the ropes course open for interested students and those who would like to earn PE credit. 

Career Exploration and Extended Learning Opportunities

Join Mrs. Smith to learn about the ELO program at WHS, explore career opportunities and interests or to complete a summer ELO.

Sea to Summit

July 11th-28th

Winnacunnet High School is proud to invite incoming freshmen and current freshmen from the class of 2025 and 2026 to participate in the acclaimed Sea to Summit summer enrichment program. 8th and 9th-grade students from SAUs 21 & 90 are all welcome in this unique opportunity.  The program provides a strong academic and social introduction to high school that is focused on unforgettable experiences that improve problem-solving skills, literacy, and collaboration.

Freshman Math Drop-in

July 5th-8th

The class of 2026 is encouraged to drop in during the week before Sea to Summit to see Ms. Burke for assistance with optional summer math work or project based preparation for Sea to Summit.

Trigonometry Boot Camp

July 18th-28th

This optional session is for students after precalculus to refresh and deepen their understanding of trigonometry concepts in preparation for Calculus at any level.
