Decisions Program

The Decisions Program is designed to provide students with emotional disabilities with a smaller, more supportive and structured classroom setting. Decisions, the core class for the program, is a challenge by choice class offered to provide students with the opportunity to develop prosocial skills. Students are encouraged to take courses in the regular curriculum. If determined necessary by their IEP team, students may take English, Math and Social Studies in the Decisions Program. In addition, an Academic Support class is offered to provide students with the services necessary to maintain success in the regular curriculum.

Two teachers and one educational associate currently staff the Decisions team. Individual counseling, crisis intervention and behavior management are also provided.
